Scott practices in the firm’s litigation group.  He is an experienced trial attorney and appellate advocate, and plays a lead role in the firm’s representation of clients throughout the life of a case.  In addition to his extensive trial and arbitration experience, Scott has skillfully prepared many successful briefs in the state and federal courts of appeals.  Scott represents clients in a variety of disputes involving insurance, personal injury, premises liability, civil rights, and employment law.  He also litigates commercial disputes, and provides counsel to other lawyers in complex, multi-party cases.  Other lawyers routinely look to Scott for answers to complex questions of insurance law, civil and appellate procedure, and for assistance in preparing appeal briefs.
