Scott practices in the firm’s litigation practice group.  He plays a lead role in the firm’s representation of clients through the appellate process, based upon his extensive experience preparing successful briefs in the state and federal courts of appeals.  Scott regularly represents clients in personal injury, premises liability, civil rights, and employment law cases.  He also litigates commercial disputes, and provides counsel in complex, multi-party cases to other lawyers.  Scott is an experienced trial attorney and appellate advocate.  Prior to a case reaching the courtroom, Scott is well-versed in the law of insurance and able to give accurate analysis of whether a particular claim is covered by insurance.
